Create automated Opportunity Solution Trees (OSTs) using actual data within Reveall!

💡 All modifications you make to your Outcomes, Opportunities, and Solutions in other parts of the platform are automatically reflected in all Opportunity Solution Trees, keeping your OSTs up to date at all times!

In order to create a new OST, navigate to the 'Maps' tab in the left-hand sidebar and select '+ New Opportunity Solution Tree'.

It'll now ask you to select one of your Outcomes. Simply select the checkbox of the relevant Outcome and click done.

Once you click done, the tree will automatically generate the linked Opportunities and Solutions that are linked to that specific Outcome.

🏷️ Each Opportunity and Solution Card on your tree will have the given priority score and status on them.

🔴 It's important to note that in order to create an Opportunity Solution Tree, you need to have at least one Outcome in Reveall.

No worries if you don't have an Outcome yet, use the '+' icon on the pop-up to add your first Outcome. Add the title of your new Outcome and click done.

If you would like to add new Opportunities and Solutions to your OST directly in the overview, simply click the red '+' icon on the bottom left corner of your page.

After selecting the item you would like to add to your OST, a new drawer opens. For example, if you’re adding a new Solution, start by adding in all the details: set the ease score, and link your Solution with the relevant Opportunity to form a new connection on your Opportunity Solution Tree.

Once satisfied click on the green ' Add Solution' button and the newly added Solution will automatically form a new connection on your tree.

You can form new connections on your OSTs via the Opportunity and Solution drawers at any time. Use the Linked Solutions / Opportunities sections on the drawers to form new connections in your tree.

In the library on the right, you'll see all the Opportunities and Solutions that are in your workspace.

For example, if you want to connect a specific Opportunity to your Opportunity Solution Tree, click on the relevant card in the library on the right.

This will open that specific Opportunity drawer. Within the drawer, you'll find a section for ' Linked Outcomes', simply click on the blue '+ Select Outcomes' button to link your Opportunity with the relevant Outcome. The linked Opportunity will automatically form a new connection on your Tree.

If you would like to remove a connection between an Opportunity and an Outcome within your OST, simply click on the specific Opportunity card you would like to disconnect. This will open the Opportunity drawer, navigate to the "Linked Outcomes" section and move your cursor to the linked Outcome, you will now see an "x" icon next to it, press on "x" to disconnect your Opportunity from your Outcome.

The changes will be automatically reflected in your Opportunity Solution Tree and the connection will be removed from your Tree.

There are two ways you can remove a connection between an Opportunity and a Solution within your OST

Via the Solution's Drawer

While looking at your OST click on the Solution card you would like to disconnect from your Opportunity. This will open the Solution drawer, navigate to the "Linked Opportunities" section and move your cursor to the linked Opportunities, you will now see an "x" icon next to it, press on "x" to disconnect your Solution from your Opportunity.

Via the Opportunity's Drawer

While looking at your OST click on the Opportunity card that is linked to the Solution you would like to disconnect from your Opportunity. This will open the Opportunity drawer, navigate to the "Linked Solutions" section and move your cursor to the linked Solutions, you will now see an "x" icon next to it, press on "x" to disconnect your Solution from your Opportunity.

The changes in the drawers will be automatically reflected in your Opportunity Solution Tree and the connection will be removed from your Tree.

🔴 All modifications you do on other parts of the platform are automatically reflected in all of your opportunity Solution Trees. So you don't necessarily have to be working from the OST overview to make changes 🤖

To share your OSTs with stakeholders and other teams click on the "🔗" icon, on the top right corner of your Opportunity Solution Tree.

All contributors & admins in your environment can create shared links with different access levels.

After you set your sharing settings, simply copy the link of your OST and send it over to your stakeholders and/or teams.

📍People without a Reveall account have viewing access to the drawers and can't make any changes to the card details.
